Interchange Solutions Inc. ("Interchange"), the
makers of Salesplace for Lotus Notes and BlackBerry, is pleased to
report that Lotusphere 2006 was the most successful in our rich,
nine-year tradition of sponsorship!

“Salesplace was very visible to all attendees
at Lotusphere this year” says Mark Durst, President of
Interchange. “Having
Vision Level Sponsorship at this year’s Lotusphere
was a big step forward for our company and allowed us to
showcase Salesplace as the leading Lotus Notes CRM tool as well
as a world class solution”.
This year’s theme, in line with the Interchange
mission/vision was “Driving Sales Success”! Salesplace gave out
1,000 NASCAR© caps as part of their Lotusphere promotion and
each member of the Salesplace team also sported a leather
NASCAR© jacket that was given away at the Wednesday evening
party at Sea World. |
Says Vik Naik, Director of Sales, “The Driving
Sales Success theme was a fantastic promotion for us. The visual

theme, coupled with our sponsorship level, and overall interest in
CRM tools really drove people to our booth. At times, we had so
many people waiting to see a demo of Salesplace that we had to bring
in more staff to handle the volume. When attendees saw first hand
what Salesplace was capable of delivering, especially with our
BlackBerry edition, they immediately understood the benefits of
having Salesplace running within their organization.”
To top it all off, Salesplace was selected by a
panel of judges as a finalist for “Best
in Lotusphere Showcase”. “What an honor” says Vik. Last year we received
the Lotus CTO award for Innovation, and this year we were finalists
in two categories, Best Industry Solution and Best in Show. It
shows how Salesplace is positioned to Drive Sales Success within the
Lotus community.”
Salesplace also conducted a Birds of A Feather
session titled "Simulating Relational Databases in an IBM Lotus
Notes World". This event was well attended and helped expand our
knowledge about the use of Lotus Notes in real world environments.
Wesley Roebuck, co-presenter at the session, says “It was great to
share our client experiences with the Lotus community. Interchange
has always been committed to sharing our knowledge, and I was
pleased to continue this tradition at Lotusphere this year.”
Salesplace set themselves apart from other
exhibitors with the filming of a special and original “racecar
commercial” featuring lead driver, and President, Mark Durst. Says
Mark, “The commercial was fun and exciting to film – but the most
important part was affirming to all Lotusphere attendees that
Salesplace really does Drive Sales Success for our customers. The
most exciting part of Lotusphere for me was meeting our existing
clients face-to-face and hearing directly from them how our solution
has had a dramatic, and positive, impact on their sales force.”
